Brooklyn Nycol Carmical
August 22, 1995 — September 13, 2026
Brooklyn Nycol was born August 22, 1995 to Cyndi Carmical at Oak Hill in Joplin MO. Brooklyn was a happy and joyful child, attending schools in Carthage MO before graduating from Webb City High School in 2016. Brooklyn was very proud of her ROTC Experience and earning her CNA License. Brooklyn worked locally in home health, serving many patients across the area, and for non-profits such as The Arc of the Ozarks and Precious Moments Chapel. Brooklyn was kind, compassionate and loving towards all who knew her.
Brooklyn had a zest for life, always joyful and truly enjoyed her life to the fullest daily. Brooklyn loved being named Aunt B by Rowan, and happily filled that role to Rayann, Raygan, Jachin, Presley & Peyton. Brooklyn was surrounded with an incredible Girl Gang — a wonderful supportive network with Brooklyn at its center as an anchor — her supportive guidance, good advice, and loving words are already missed.
Brooklyn spent her weekends being with her mom and sister, sunset drives through the windmills with Roman, traveling and camping from the mountains to the coasts with mom, and filled her life with so many adventures that brought her joy. Her pets were her children, she loved Everest Marie, Socks, & Vada Sue & her sister’s fur babies as well. Sunflowers were Brooklyn’s favorite flower and it’s hard to imagine anything on earth better matched to her sunny, and beautiful outlook on life. Bright, beautiful, resilient, and always rising toward the light.
Despite life’s challenges, Brooklyn was brightly defiant throughout, facing difficulties with a bravery that only she could muster. Brooklyn was courageous and vibrant. A private person fulfilling dreams not always spoken or shared, no doubt a beautiful life cut tragically short. Brooklyn’s final day on earth was spent exactly where she belonged; a rainy September afternoon with her cousins — doing nails, watching movies, at some point sharing with them; “this is my best day.” Brooklyn is deeply loved and terribly missed, those sacred words let us know that she left this world feeling loved, happy, and completely herself.
Brooklyn loved one way — FULLY. She loved her mom Cyndi, her sister Gabby and Brother in Law Nick, her brother Roman and nephew Rowan, and her brother O’neil (Adrianna). Brooklyn loved Tommy, Emily, Rayann, Raygan, Raylyn, and Jachin and so many others she claimed as family. If Brooklyn loved you, she made sure that you knew it.
Brooklyn loved God and we take comfort knowing that she is happily reunited with her beloved Aunt Sara, Mimi and Terri in heaven. She leaves behind her mom, siblings, nephew, cousins, extended family, Girl Gang, grandparents Helen Brock and Grady Carmical Sr, and many, many friends who are heartbroken by this loss. We will remember Brooklyn each day with love in our hearts and kindness shared with others.
A celebration of life will be held October 3, 2026 at 6pm at Precious Moments Convention Center
