Samantha Jo “Sammy” Phipps

Samantha Jo “Sammy” Phipps, 55, of Carthage, Missouri, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2026.

Sammy was raised in Carthage, Missouri, and spent her life surrounded by the people who meant the most to her. She worked at UnitedHealthcare and took pride in the life she built, but above all else, her family was what she loved most.

She was a loving mother to Lindsey Gricks and Lexi Harmon, and a proud grandmother to Rylee Gricks, Elias Gricks, Khylor Gricks, and Colt Gricks. Her family was her greatest joy, and the love she gave them will continue to live on through each of them.

Sammy is survived by her children, grandchildren, and her aunt, Becky Russell. She was preceded in death by her father, Dan Phipps; her mother, Cinda Crawford; her grandmother, Hazel Phipps; and her uncle, Don Phipps.

Sammy will be remembered for her love of family, the memories she created with the people she loved, and all the little pieces of herself she left behind in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
