Steven Hesse

Steven Hesse, age 60, of Commerce, Oklahoma, passed away on September 26, 2026, in Joplin, Missouri. Steven was born on January 14, 1966, in Limestone, Maine, to Bland and Nancy Hesse.

Steven worked for many years at ACE Electric in Columbus, Kansas. He was a simple man at heart who found joy in the everyday things that made life meaningful. He cherished spending time with his family and friends and took pride in keeping a good, crisp, clean lawn. In his spare time, Steven enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! with his loyal furry companion, Molly, by his side. His quiet nature, genuine heart, and appreciation for the simple things in life will be remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Steven is survived by his two brothers, Mark Hesse and David Hesse; his daughter, Jamie Hesse; his two grandchildren, Thomas Hesse and Cadence Anderson; and his loyal puppy, Molly.

A celebration luncheon in Steven’s honor will be held at 12:00 p.m. on October 1, 2026, at 1st Assembly of God, 1815 E. Steve Owens Blvd., Miami, OK 74354. Family and friends are welcome to gather together to share memories, stories, and fellowship in remembrance of Steven.

Steven will be remembered for his simple way of life, his love for his family and friends, and the quiet joys he found in each day. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by those who knew him.
