Dustin “Dusty” Wayne Crowe

December 18, 1974 – September 9, 2026

Dustin Wayne Crowe, 51 years, 8 months, and 17 days old, of Carthage, Missouri, went to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.

Not leaving behind much in the way of monetary means, but most importantly, his legacy lives on in the hearts of his only son, Levi Crowe; daughter-in-law, Amanda Crowe; and grandson, Jace Crowe.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Darrell and Bertha Crowe.

Dusty is also survived by his siblings, Brian Crowe, Kevin Crowe, Denise Chasten, and Derek Crowe; their spouses; and many nieces.

Dustin graduated from Carthage High School in 1993.

He was a jack of all trades and had many hobbies. He was the type who could master most anything on the first try. That’s how he came to have many different professions: pool shark, race car driver, volunteer firefighter, supervisor at Carthage Marble and underground, Budweiser delivery driver, car hauler, MNA railroad conductor, heavy machine operator, and mechanic.

He was a lover of music, good food—especially breakfast – Chiefs football, fast cars, movies, and helping people in need.

Tremendous and heartfelt thanks go to the truly exceptional nurses and staff at St. Luke’s Nursing Facility in Carthage, as well as all the facilities that cared for Dustin during these last three years after his stroke.

It’s no secret that Dustin had a hard life, but the Lord had favor upon him and showed him much mercy.

We ask that you don’t have sadness in his passing, but instead have peace and rejoice in his healing and in knowing that his spirit lives on eternally.
