Calvin Lynn Pringle

Calvin was born January 10, 1953, in Carthage, Missouri, to Warren and Maureen Pringle. He spent his life working hard, raising a family, making people laugh, and generally keeping everyone around him on their toes.

Calvin proudly served in the United States Army before going on to work as a machinist, chemist and truck driver. But perhaps his most important professional accomplishment was serving as the Founder, Owner, and CEO of Pringle Enterprises.

He was hilariously witty, unapologetically ornery, and rarely missed an opportunity for a good joke. In his younger years, Calvin was the life of the party and had a personality that made him hard to forget.

Above all, Calvin loved his family. He is survived by his wife, Jacquelyn Pringle; son, Coty Pringle, and daughter-in-law, Shelby Pringle (Denny); daughter, Christian Arnold (Pringle), and son-in-law, Christopher Arnold; and stepson, Sonny Swartz. He also leaves behind six grandchildren who brought him great joy: Avery Pringle, Morgan Denny, Emersyn Arnold, Hayes Arnold, Dominic Swartz, and Denver Swartz.

He is also survived by his brothers, Phil Pringle and Terry Pringle.

Calvin was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Maureen Pringle, and his lifelong best friend, David Spurgeon.

True to Calvin’s personality, he made his wishes known that there would be no formal funeral service. His family will honor those wishes while planning a celebration of life at a later date, where they can come together to share stories, laughter, and memories of a man who certainly left an impression on everyone lucky enough to know him.

Calvin leaves behind a lifetime of stories, laughter, questionable decisions, strong opinions, and memories that will be told for years to come. He will be deeply missed by the people who loved him.
