Lipihner K. Diopulos
Lipihner K. Diopulos, age of 59, of Joplin, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 29, 2026, at her home surrounded by family. Born on April 30, 1967, to the late Kapus Diopulos and Lipihna Solomon Diopulos, in Kolonia, Pohnpei, in the Federated States of Micronesia. During her time in Pohnpei, Lipihner graduated from Pohnpei Island Central School, with the class of 1985. Her professional journey began in Kolonia, Pohnpei as an administrative assistant for the FSM. She then relocated to Saipan where she worked as a physical therapy assistant until she moved to Kansas City in 2002 where she became a Certified Nurses Aid. A few years later, Lipihner moved to Sulphurs Springs, Arkansas to make her home. Here, she was employed with Tyson and Simmons Foods. Beyond her professional life, Lipihner was known for her love of music and her powerful voice, with its remarkable range in several octaves, was a source of joy for many. However, her greatest joy in life was undoubtedly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she adored and spoke of with unending pride and affection.
Lipihner’s memory will be lovingly cherished by her surviving family, children Etrihse (Dexter) Capelle, Griston (Irene Eliam) Diopulos, Lori-Ann Moura, and Melihda (Lein) Lucas; her legacy continues through her 16 grandchildren, Max Oneal Pangelinan, Jayven (Erica Samuel) Diopulos, Christian, Lucavi, Aldivine, and Etrivilae Moura, PJay Torres, Draimen, Jayrianna, Etrianna, Etrivianna and Dray Capelle, Kayli Rose, Cecilia, and Kaycia Diopulos, and Lein Lucas Jr.; her four great-grandchildren, Kaizer Prince Diopulos, Xavier and Xander Torres, and Kenai Diopulos; one brother, Dwight Diopulos; beloved Miora Renselinna Capelle; along with numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Lipihner was preceded in death by her siblings, four sisters, Siwihder Alik, Elpihner Kalikidi, Etrihse Diopulos, Etrihna Diopulos; three brothers, Jacob, Pernis, and Camperson Diopulos; and her granddaughter, Malinda Etrivanna Lindley.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 17, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Royal Heights Methodist Church, 1612 Euclid Ave., Joplin Missouri, with Pastor Steve Thomas officiating. Burial to immediately follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery, Joplin with grandsons, Jayven Diopulos, Christian Moura, Max Pangelinan, Draimen Capelle, Lucavi Moura, Lein Lucas Jr., Kabrien Keller, Dwayne Alex Jr., Adrian Diopulos, and TaeShaun Alik serving as pallbearers. Flower delivery may begin at the church on Friday at 9:00 AM.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery and Crematory, Joplin.
