Darryl Zane Kearns
Darryl Zane Kearns, 82 of Joplin, Missouri, passed away peacefully at his house on September 1, 2026. He was a brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend.
Darryl was born to Betty Hill and Albert Kearns on November 13, 1943 in Tuscola Illinois. Darryl graduated from Cadillac high school in Cadillac Michigan in In 1962, when he then enlisted in the United States army from 1962 to 1968. Then served in the US National Guard of Illinois from 1968 to 1972 after his time in the Armed Forces Darryl worked for Illinois Central railroad where he retired he also drove truck for several years after retiring from the railroad.
His favorite things to do was listening to music watching movies and playing video games on his computer with his friends.
Darryl is survived by his two brothers three children seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He will be laid to rest at Missouri veterans cemetery at 5201 S. Southwood Rd., Springfield, MO 65804 on October 29 at 9 AM with full Military Honors.
