Amy Outt
With profound sadness, the family of Amy Annette Outt announces her passing on October 15, 2026, in the comfort of her home. Born on November 14, 1964, in Carthage, Missouri, Amy was the beloved daughter of the late Eldon and Mary Lee.
Amy lived a life full of love and adventure, married to her husband, Richard Outt, in 1992, until his passing. She was a cherished mother to her children Jeremy Lee, Christina (Andy) Hensley, Kara Jack, and Skylar (Kaitlin) Outt, and a proud grandmother to twelve grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
Amy attended Sarcoxie School District and later embraced her role as a homemaker and grandmother with boundless energy and enthusiasm. She was known for her unique ability to express her thoughts without uttering a word, a gift that often brought humor and warmth to those around her. Her adventurous spirit often saw her joining her grandchildren in their playful escapades, even swinging from a tree stand rope with them, no matter the outcome.
Amy found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She adored the summer months, relishing the warmth of the sun and the fresh air of the great outdoors. Her days were sweetened by the company of her grandchildren, a good cup of coffee, and her favorite television shows, which provided comfort and laughter.
Preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard, her sister Brenda Lee, and her brother-in-law Ronnie Killman, Amy leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and laughter. Her family, including her children and grandchildren, will continue to cherish her memory and the joy she brought into their lives.
As we say goodbye to Amy, we celebrate a life well lived, full of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. She will be dearly missed and forever cherished in the hearts of all who knew her.
Her family will host a Celebration of Life on Saturday, October 24, 2026, 11:00am, at Sarcoxie First Baptist Church, 101 N. 17th Street, Sarcoxie, Missouri 64862.
Arrangements under the care and direction of Ozark Memorial Park Crematory, Neosho, Missouri.
