Karson Kate Campbell

Karson Kate Campbell was born into the arms of angels on August 23, 2026, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri, weighing 4lb 4.4oz and measuring 17.5 inches long. She was covered in love and prayer from the beginning, and though we did not get the time we hoped for, she filled our hearts with love, joy, hope, dreams, and a bond that will never be broken.

Karson is the beloved daughter of Clayton and Julia Campbell, who, alongside her maternal grandparents Jenny (Doug) Csupak, and Chris (Tracy) Houk, and paternal grandparents Carrie Campbell and David Campbell, will forever hold her memory close. In addition, Karson’s arrival was eagerly anticipated by her great-grandparents, Carol (Gary) Clang, Dewey (Donna) Ball, Sonny (Pat) Sparlin, and Everett (Beth) Rowell. Karson is also dearly remembered by her aunts and uncles Kierstin Houk, Evan Houk, and Matthew Houk, Cade Campbell, Carter Campbell, and Olivia Nelson, as well as her sweet cousins Oliver and Cora Young, and many other extended and bonus family members.

Karson joins her great-grandparents Rich (Nancy) Houk, and Dale (Lois) Campbell, as well as her sisters Baylor and Miller Campbell, who welcomed her into Heaven.

A service to celebrate Karson Kate’s life will be held on August 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Royal Heights United Methodist Church, located at 1612 Euclid Ave., Joplin, Missouri. Following the service, a burial will take place at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery; family and friends are encouraged to gather in honor of the brief but profound life of this cherished child.

The family finds lasting comfort in knowing she only knew the love and warmth of her mother’s womb, never having to experience the pains of this world. She was far too beautiful for Earth and is safely in the arms of Jesus, with her sisters at her side. Karson will be remembered not by the length of her time with us but by the depth of affection she inspired in the hearts of those who eagerly awaited her journey in life.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery and Crematory.
