Jerry Templeton
Jerry Templeton, born August 14, 1951, peacefully passed away at his home on August 12, 2026, surrounded by the comfort and familiarity of the place he loved. After a life filled with love, family, and treasured memories, Jerry has gone home to Heaven, where he is now at peace in the presence of the Lord and reunited with those who went before him.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lois Templeton; his sister, Carol Carver; and Billy Templeton.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 48 years, Marsha Templeton, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, devotion, and memories. He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Carl Fisher; his children, Misty Huddleston, Amy Hudson and her husband, Tim Hudson, and Johnny Templeton and his wife, Arlie Templeton.
Jerry was a proud and loving grandfather to Hunter Huddleston, Maizey Hudson, Olive Templeton, and Titus Templeton, and a cherished great-grandfather to Axel and August Huddleston.
Jerry’s greatest legacy can be found in the family who loved him so deeply. His life touched each of them in ways that words cannot fully express, and the memories they shared with him will be carried in their hearts forever.
Although his earthly presence will be deeply missed, his family finds comfort in knowing that this goodbye is not forever. Jerry has simply gone on ahead, welcomed into his Heavenly home and into the arms of those he loved who were waiting for him.
As Scripture reminds us, “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” — Matthew 5:4
Jerry was dearly loved, and he will be deeply missed. His love, his memory, and the place he holds within his family will remain forever.
Until we meet again, rest peacefully in Heaven
