Mary Louise Smith

Mary Louise Smith passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 25, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 yrs. Gene, in 2013. Mary was a beloved mother, mother in law, grandmother, stepmother, sister-in-law, cousin, aunt, & a friend to many.

Mary knew no strangers. She adored babies and children & there was NO bigger animal advocate. She spent her entire life caring for animals of all kinds in a variety of ways. She was blessed to have her cat, Trouble throughout the last 17+ yrs. as a sweet companion.

Her work ethic was unmatched. She worked a multitude of jobs throughout her lifetime… from golf course, waitressing, pet store, to hospital catering. I have no doubt she set the standard at whatever she did. Until her final days, she did everything she was able to help manage her home. Mary loved her little family fiercely and we loved her more than words can express. Our world will never be the same, but we have peace that she is finally at rest. ❤️
