Nora L. Proctor

Nora L. (Twitchell) Proctor, born on December 7, 1933, in Howard County, Missouri, passed away peacefully at home on July 4, 2026. 

The daughter of Walter Twitchell and Maudie Jane Hayes. Nora was the youngest of eleven children. She was preceded in death by her siblings as well as her husband Charles Proctor.

 Nora is survived by her three children, Karen Sue Pawlus and her husband Jim, Walter Paul Prichard, and Pamela Elaine Coyle. Nora has six grandchildren, Kim, Joe, Julie, Rebecca, Jenifer, and Justin, and eight great-grandchildren, Reese, Ben, Connor, Ivan, Chet, Katie, Little John, and Lainee. Nora also has three step great grandchildren Nathan, Jaycen, and Larraimie, step daughter,  Regina and husband Rex.  Nora has many nieces and nephews.

Nora was loved by all who knew her. She will be dearly missed.

A Graveside Service to honor Nora’s life will be held on July 11, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery, located at 415 N St Louis Ave, Joplin, Missouri. 

Services are under the care and direction of Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery and Crematory.
