Irene Elizabeth DeGonia Clark Carrier

Irene Elizabeth DeGonia Clark Carrier, Born December 5, 1946 at Deaconess Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri, to Joseph Albert and Mary Lou Richter DeGonia. She went to be with the Lord April 19, 2026 surrounded by her family.

She is survived by one Son; Stephen Clark (Angie) of Seneca MO, Grand-daughter Josie Clark of Joplin. Two step children; William (Billy) A Carrier II (Angie). Kelli L Carrier Prendes (Mickey). 4 Step Grand-children and several great grandchildren.
3 Brothers; Larry (Brenda) DeGonia, Ray (Suzy) DeGonia, Emul (Gail) DeGonia. 2 Sisters; Linda Smith, and Shelly Ebbs (David).
Many Nieces, Nephews, and extended family and special Grand-Dog, Chachi, she was very special to Irene.

She Graduated early from St. Louis, Mo. Continued her education at Missouri state college and numerous jobs including 911 dispatch for J.P.D, Petro, Claires, Sears, etc. before retiring from U.S. Bank.

She was a women of many talents. She enjoyed gardening, dancing, singing, painting, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She is proceeded in death by her son, Marty Clark, Her 1st husband, Billy Gene Clark, her husband William (Bill) Carrier I, her parents, Brothers; Jerry, Carl, and Paul DeGonia and Special Sister In-Laws; Bonnie Clark, Joyce DeGonia, and a Special Brother In-Law; Ron Carrier.

Celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are under the personal care of Ozark Memorial Park Crematory of Joplin, Missouri.
