Susan A Boone

Susan A Boone, 75, of Arma, Kansas, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at her residence.

She was born on February 9, 1951, in Fort Scott, Kansas.

She graduated from Schriners University in Kerrville, Texas with her Nursing degree.

She worked as a nurse in various hospitals and nursing homes and was also a traveling nurse before retiring.

She enjoyed sewing, quilting, fishing and frogging.

She was a devout Grandmother and loved her grandchildren dearly.

She is survived by her two sons; Duane (Melissa) Rogers of Mulberry, Kansas and Derrick “Pup” Neil of Arma, Kansas, one brother; Donald Ray Boone of Mulberry, Kansas and one sister; Janice Crays of Humboldt, Kansas, 7 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 2 sons; Michael Allen Rogers and Patrick Rogers and her parents; Donald and Thelma Lowe Boone.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Cremation Arrangements are under the personal care of Ozark Memorial Park Crematory of Joplin, Missouri.
