Danny Alan Copeland

Danny Alan Copeland 72 of Joplin, Mo. passed away at home surrounded by his family April 3, 2026 after a long illness.

Danny was born in Joplin July 10th 1953 to Pudge and Lorraine Copeland. He attended Joplin schools and graduated from Parkwood High school before going to work at ABC Supply, Southwest Sash and Door, and then 15th St Lumber Co.

Danny loved his family fiercely and took care of all of them. He was the best son, brother, husband, dad and papa. He had a lot of friends that meant everything to him. He was a one of a kind and impacted a lot of people.

Danny was preceded in death by his father Pudge Copeland and his grandparents. Danny is survived by his wife Becky Copeland, his son and daughter-in-law Brad and Emma Copeland, his daughter and son-in-law Heather and Isaac Duncan, his grandchildren Brenley Copeland, Logan Duncan and Lakyn Duncan, a great grandson Banks Copeland, his mother Lorraine Copeland, his brother and sister-in-law Kenny and Vicky Copeland, brother-in-law Jeff Hickman as well as many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. No Services planned at this time. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
