It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Vinita O’Neal, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left this world peacefully on March 23, 2026, surrounded by love. Born on May 8, 1962, Vinita’s journey through life was marked by unwavering love and resilience, traits that will forever be remembered and cherished by all who knew her.
Vinita was the cherished daughter of Bonnie Mae Moore and Arthur Franklin Isley, who predeceased her, along with her brother, Paul Isley. Despite the challenges of her own health battles, including a courageous fight with lung cancer, Vinita’s spirit never wavered. She was a beacon of strength and warmth, known for her deep love for everyone she encountered.
On February 23, 1990, Vinita married the love of her life, Jack O’Neal. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Vinita and Jack were blessed with two devoted daughters, Bonnie, married to Cordero, and Francis, who were the light of her life. Her legacy continues through her adored grandchildren, JJ, Denhiem, Ayden, and Elias, who brought immense joy and love to her days.
Educated at Memorial High School, Vinita embarked on a career that included various roles, such as her time at the Social Security office and Freeman. Her last professional endeavor was at T Tool before she dedicated herself to being a homemaker, where her nurturing spirit truly shone. Vinita’s home was a sanctuary of love, where she cared for her family with unparalleled devotion.
Vinita was happiest when surrounded by her family, whether in the great outdoors or amidst her beloved flowers. Her love for music was infectious, often filling the air with melodies that inspired spontaneous dances. Her joyous spirit was a testament to her love for life and the moments shared with those she held dear.
She leaves behind a loving family, including her husband, Jack; daughters Bonnie and Francis; sons-in-law Cordero; grandchildren JJ, Denhiem, Ayden, and Elias; and siblings Danny, Dale, Gary, Larry, and Cathy. Each of them carries a piece of Vinita’s heart and the lessons of love she imparted.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who stood by Vinita during her life’s challenges. She cherished each visit and every moment spent with friends and family. In accordance with her wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor her memory.
Vinita O’Neal touched the lives of many with her unwavering love and strength. As we bid farewell to this extraordinary woman, we find solace in the memories she leaves behind and the enduring legacy of love that will continue to inspire us all.
