Mary A. (Giefer) Vanderford, age 74, of Carl Junction, formerly of Parsons, KS, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2026, at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, Missouri.

A celebration of Mary’s life will be held at Fairview Baptist Church in Joplin, Missouri, located at 4300 S. Joplin Ave, Joplin, MO 64804, on Monday, February 9, 2026, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 AM. Flowers may be delivered to the church beginning at 9:00 AM on Monday.

Arrangements are under the personal care of Ozark Memorial Park Crematory of Joplin, Mo.
