Robert “Bob” William Gaskins

Robert (Bob) William Gaskins, 77, peacefully passed away at home on November 8, 2025. His struggle with Parkinson’s disease ended, and he is finally at rest. He leaves behind a legacy of a life fully and beautifully lived.

Born in Lake Stevens, Washington, Bob grew up adventurous and athletic. He served in the U.S. Navy as a Vietnamese linguist aboard the USS Sterett and at Fort Meade, Maryland.

Following the military, Bob finished his degrees in Economics and Psychology and became a CPA. He enjoyed a distinguished 30-year tenure, rising to Vice-President and COO at Jones & Guerrero in Guam. Known for his acumen, integrity, and quick wit, he built lasting friendships throughout the Pacific. He continued to share his expertise as a CPA/ABV with Hantzmon Weibel in Charlottesville, VA, before later roles at Castle Hill Cidery and EMAX Oil & Gas.

Bob was stepfather to Conrad and Colin Kerber and father to Gavan Gaskins from his first marriage to Carmen Castro. In 1985, he married Theresa (Terry) Dolence, and together they raised three more sons: Garrett, Gage, and Griffin Gaskins. His family was his greatest joy, and he took immense pride in his children.

Bob lit up every room with his humor, curiosity, and warmth. His family will forever miss his laugh, stories, and the joyful chaos he inspired.

Please remember Bob when you hear a hearty laugh, a bad pun, or experience abundant love. This is where his spirit thrives.
