Jeffrey Scott Campbell
Jeff was a devoted father and grandfather whose greatest joy came from spending time with his children and grandchildren. His home was often filled with laughter, stories, and the comforting presence of his open Bible or daily devotional—symbols of the Christian faith that guided him throughout his life. Whether cheering on the Minnesota Vikings and Iowa Hawkeyes or sharing quiet moments in reflection and prayer, Jeff brought warmth and wisdom to every interaction.
He is lovingly remembered by his father, Jackie Campbell; brothers Steve Campbell (and wife Cindy) and Michael Campbell (and wife Sandy); nieces and nephews Joel Campbell, Courtney Campbell, Annabelle, Kyle Campbell (and wife Becky), Maren Bruce (and husband James); great-nieces Elliot and Lilith Campbell; and many others who were blessed to be part of his extended family.
Jeff’s legacy continues through his children: Lari Roush (and fiancé Joseph Brown), Chase Roush, Lucas Campbell, Kathryn Roush, and Heather Hartig (and husband Nathan). He was a proud grandfather to Joseph, Jalynn, Avery, Aubree, Kyngstan, Kaytlyn, Vernelle, and Rubee—each of whom brought immense joy to his life. He also shared a meaningful bond with Mary Roush as a friend and co-parent of the home.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Campbell; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who went before him.
Jeff will be remembered as loving and kind-hearted—a nurturing father whose strength and honor left an indelible mark on those around him. His wisdom was sought after by many; his presence offered comfort in times of need. Those who knew him will carry forward the lessons he taught through both word and example.
A memorial service celebrating Jeff’s life will be held on November 22, 2025, at 02:00 PM at The Road Church 1005 W Daugherty St. Webb City, Missouri.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ozark Memorial Park of Joplin, MO
