Mable Mason
March 19, 1940 – August 30, 2025
Mable Mason, age 85, of Carthage, Missouri, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2025, at St. Luke’s Nursing Home. Born on March 19, 1940, Mable spent her life nurturing those around her with quiet strength, deep compassion, and a steadfast love for family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Alma Lee Wooten; her father, Chalmer Dunn; and her stepfather, Clifford Wooten. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.
Mable is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Earl Mason. Her family includes her brothers, Archie Dunn and his wife, Kathy, and James Dunn and his wife, Kyle; and her sister, Caroline Martin and her husband, Dwayne. She also leaves behind her children, Earletta (Brooke) Wright and David Mason and his wife, Cara.
Mable’s legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren, Paige Keeling and her husband, George, Ashley Wright, Felicia Bradley and her husband, Brian, and Matt Mason. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Her legacy lives on in each of them—in their laughter, their strength, and the values she instilled. Mable will be remembered for her quiet wisdom, her warm spirit, and the way she made everyone feel at home.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on September 13th at the ATA Lodge, also known as the Hootenanny, located at 6258 County Road 188, Webb City, Missouri 64870.
