Juanita Ellen (Cockrell) Stanley

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Juanita Ellen (Cockrell) Stanley who passed away peacefully on April 29, 2026, at the age of 74 with her family by her side.

Juanita was born on April 2, 1952. She graduated from Galena High School in 1971.

Juanita devoted her life to caring for those she loved, spending time with her family and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs. She is survived by her children Chad Daniels and his wife Heather of Diamond; Shelley Adams and her husband Bradley of Purcell; Gene and Cindi Stanley, Joplin; 9 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents Delvere and Inez Cockrell, her husband Lloyd Gene Stanley and her brother Lloyd Alan Cockrell.

A celebration of life will be held at Grace Awakening Church at a later date for family and friends to come together, share memories, and honor the beautiful life she lived.
