Judy Darlene Rhoten Broome

Judy Darlene Rhoten Broome, age sixty-five, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2026, residing at Truman Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, in Lamar, MO. Judy was born into the family of Darwin (DJ) Jean Rhoten and Jennie Lou Ferrell Rhoten on December 28th, 1960. Judy was the youngest of six children. Preceded in death by her parents, grandparents as well as brothers, Darel, James, Michael and Larry. Judy is survived by her daughters Heather, Candace, and seven grandchildren. Sister, Jennell Rhoten-Fleetwood, (Bob), eight nephews, one niece, several great nieces, and great nephews, as well as several cousins.

Judy’s family would like to express our deepest appreciation to the staff as well as residents for their friendship and the loving care Judy received during the time she resided at the Truman Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.

Graveside services will be held at East Lawn Cemetery, Springfield, MO, April 22, 2026, at 2:00 PM, Pastor Justin Lloyd will officiate.

Cremation Arrangements are under the personal care of Ozark Memorial Park Crematory of Joplin, Missouri.
