Billie Jack Trickett Jr., age 58, of Baxter Springs, KS, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, March 28, 2026.

Billie, son of the late Billie Jack Trickett Sr. and Helen Marie (Ferguson)Trickett Lewis was born on March 19, 1968. He grew up and lived most of his life in Galena and Baxter Springs, KS area. He was an avid outdoorsman, often enjoying the areas lakes and rivers. He loved spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews who will miss his yearly Halloween activities and decorations he often did for them. He loved time spent with them fishing, camping and floating.

He is survived by one brother, James Trickett, and his wife, Melissa, of Fairland, OK; three sisters, Johnnia Wamaack, of Galena, KS, Jodie Mascher and Michele Fonseca, both of Baxter Springs, KS; several nieces and nephews; and many beloved friends. In addition to his parents, Billie was preceded in death by two sisters, Mitzi Trickett and Kindel McPherson; and two brothers, William and Franklin Trickett.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Fairview Baptist Church, 4300 S Joplin Ave, Joplin, MO 64804. Flower arrangements may be delivered to the church on Saturday, beginning at 10:00 AM.
