E. Elaine Urton

E.Elaine Urton’s earthly journey ended on February 2, 2026, at 5pm at age 83. Elaine was born and raised on her family’s farm in Urich, Mo. December 16, 1942. Elaine was a gifted beautician. She was in the business for over 60 years having owned her own salons. Elaine claimed her ministry was from behind the chair.
Elaine loved the babies, and none were safe from her lipstick prints on their little cheeks. Elaine loved to fish. Many evenings, after a hard day’s work, you could find her on the banks of a local farm pond catching catfish and drinking homemade wine.
In 1990, Elaine and family moved to Branson West, Mo where she opened a successful salon. Elaine would often take the grand kids to Branson to catch a music show and dinner.
Elaine is proceeded in passing by her loving parents, Elmer and Fredrika “Freddy” Bergschneider and her oldest sister Mary Baer. Elaine is survived by her two brothers, William Bergschneider and Eugene Bergschneider. Four of her sisters, Catherine Garriga, Sister Cecila Bergschneider, Alvina O’Bannon, and Agnes Foster. One daughter, Renita Kitchingham. Four grandchildren, Micheal Urton, James Gray, Tiffany Urton, and Kaeli Russell. Elaine enjoyed her great grandchildren, Isaac Urton, Korben Urton, Karmyn Fleming, Kameron Russell, Kiara Urton and Luna Gray, the great grand doggy. Elaine leaves many cousins, nieces, nephews and a multitude of friends who cherished her.
Elaine will be greatly missed by many.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
