Shari Lynne (Hodges) Adams

Shari Lynne (Hodges) Adams, age 76, a resident of Kansas City, MO. Passed away on December 24, 2025, at Liberty Hospital surrounded by family. She was born on June 4, 1949 in Kansas City MO to Roy and Daisy Hodges

Shari was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Adams, parents Roy and Daisy Hodges, brother Neil Hodges, sister Jo Ann Verheaghe and brother Roy Hodges. She is survived by her sister Willa Franklin, children Debrah Porter, Lisa Duddy (Gary) and Phillip Adams (Shelley). 6 Grandchildren Christopher Porter, Andrew Porter, Amy Porter, Nichole Beaudoin, Mallory Wirt and Jesse Kovac. She leaves behind 9 great grandsons Drew, Derek, Daxton, Riley, Matthew, Hunter, Jaxon, Caden and Jack, 2 great granddaughters Abigail and Everett and several cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Shari spent most of her career doing clerical work but also worked retail, waitressing and as a 911operator in Florida for a short time. In her retired years she was a housewife and caretaker to her husband. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, riding her spider bike and spending time with her family.

Services will be at Leavenworth National Cemetery on January 8, 2026, at 12:30pm.
