Lisa D. Wheeler

Lisa D. Wheeler. Age 56, of Joplin, Missouri, passed away on December 18th, 2025. Born on February 20, 1969, in St. Joseph, Missouri, she was the daughter of Charles Tracy and Elizabeth Fattig. Lisa shared a deep bond with her husband, Mike, as they worked side by side in remodeling homes. Together, they enjoyed outdoor activities like fishing. They also enjoyed spending time at the casino. Following Mike’s passing two years ago, Lisa continued to embrace her passions.
Known for her big heart, Lisa found immense joy in her role as a mother and grandmother. Her children and grandchildren brought laughter and light to her life, and she enjoyed time spent with them. Lisa was also a devoted lover of her chihuahuas, who brought her endless joy and companionship. With a unique knack for collecting various items, she found happiness in life’s simple pleasures, including leisurely moments spent outdoors with a cup of coffee.
Lisa was a caring daughter, always attentive to her mother. She is now reunited in peace with her husband, Michael Wheeler, and her sister, Patsy Williams, who both welcomed her into Heaven. As they reunite, we can be sure that Michael was waiting with open arms, ready for her to drive him crazy.
Lisa is survived by her children: Charles Warren and his wife Nathaly Elizalde; Ashley Moore; Misty Kelso; Anthony Wheeler and his wife Lallania Tomlinson-Wheeler; and Daniel Wheeler and his wife Ashlee Wheeler. She leaves behind 15 cherished grandchildren, her mother Elizabeth Hutchinson, her sisters, Penny Day and Sherri Studer and husband Randy Sluder, as well as her brother, Charles”Junior “ Tracy. Lisa left this earth too soon and will be remembered by all.
