Robert “Dutch” Liming

Robert “Dutch” Liming, age 70, of Parsons, Kansas, passed away on December 12, 2025, at his home.

Robert was born on October 28, 1955, in Coffeyville, Kansas, to Jimmie Liming and Ida Felina (Hutcheson) Liming. Known to many as “Dutch,” he was a man who found joy in the simple things—especially fishing and working on motors of all sizes. Whether it was fixing an engine or spending time outdoors, he was happiest with his hands busy and his mind at work.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie and Ida Liming; his brothers, Larry Liming and William Liming; his daughters, Brenda Warner and Crystal Liming; and his son, David Warner.

Robert is survived by his sisters, Violet Carter (Kent) of Independence, Kansas, and Sherry Garretson (Robert) of Coffeyville, Kansas; his daughters, April Warner of Parsons, Kansas, and Serenity Phelps (Stanley) of Parsons, Kansas; and his son, Travis Liming of Ottawa, Kansas. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who will cherish his memory.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date
