Molly Marie Logan
Molly Marie Logan, 77, passed peacefully at home on October 9, 2025, in Joplin, Missouri, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 2, 1948, in Portales, New Mexico, to James Robert Vinsant and Peggy Marie (Keigley) Vinsant.
Molly was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mike Logan; son, Mark Goodwin; father, James Vinsant; mother, Peggy Vinsant; step-father, Laverne Smith; and brother, Mike Vinsant.
She graduated from Miller High School in 1966 and went on to attend Hil Cres College of Cosmetology in Springfield, Missouri. Molly spent most of her life as a beautician, building a loyal clientele and giving haircuts to her family and friends. She would jokingly remind everyone that she was a beautician, not a magician. Known for her lead foot and haphazard driving skills, her husband, Mike, affectionately nicknamed her “Molly Andretti,” though she still managed to arrive late to most events. Molly was an excellent cook, able to stretch a dollar and prepare a week’s worth of homemade meals on a tight budget. She was compassionate and generous, always ready to help others, even when she had little to give. She had a quiet, steady faith and resilience that carried her through life’s challenges. She appreciated the little things in life. Sitting for a visit with friends or sharing a meal with others brought her great joy.
Mike and Molly’s union created a large, loving blended family. She is survived by her children, Amberlee Miller and husband Stephen Miller, and Juanita Logan; stepchildren, Tony (Redcloud) Logan, Shane Logan and wife Judy Logan, Danny Logan and husband Mark Sprick, and Jim Logan and wife Dawn Logan; grandchildren, Jaymason Robinson and husband Brady Robinson, Pickle McQuade and partner Aleyah Greninger, Adilyn Kendrick, and Jayden Kendrick, Noah and Noan Miller; step-grandchildren, Lauren and husband Mathieu Ladouceur, Emerald Logan, and Gabriel Logan; great-granddaughter, Riley Robinson; and step-great-grandchildren, Levi and Millie. She also is survived by her sister-in-law, Melly Vinsant, and niece Pam and nephew Nathan.
Molly’s life will be remembered for her unreasonable compassion for others, nurturing spirit, and the unrelenting love she shared with all who knew her. A graveside memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Monett IOOF Cemetery, 1581 North Central Ave, Monett, Missouri. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate Molly’s life and love.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ozark Memorial Park Crematory of Joplin, MO
