George Keith Baker

George Keith Baker-Keith to his family and friends went to his Heavenly Home on September 28, 2025.
Keith was born on January 20, 1961 to George Owen and Shirley June Baker.
Keith grew up in rural Carthage where he worked on the family farm with his dad. This was his greatest joy, being a farmer.

Keith attended school in Avilla, Jasper and Carthage, graduating in 1980. He went to welding school in Tulsa, later.
Keither worked at ConAgra on the live dock. Later he worked at Cardinal Scales on the paint line and then in Housekeeping/maintenance at McCune Brooks Hospital until he suffered a heart attack in February 1999 and became disabled.
Keith was united in Holy Matrimony to Regina Kae Garner on April 11, 1992. To this union were born twins Joshua Caleb and Jacob Ira in December of 1993 and Joseph Keith in June 1997. He enjoyed taking the boys to the family farm pond to fish.

Keith is survived by his wife Regina. His sons Joshua (Hailey), Jacob (Alexandrea), and Joseph. Three grandsons Jaxson, Logan, and Baylor. One granddaughter, Amity Rose and his mother Shirley. His father George passed away earlier this year.

Per Keith’s wishes his body will be cremated. Memorial services will be at Jasper Christian Church on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 1:30 PM.

Family requests in lieu of flowers that memorial donations be made to Carthage Humane Society in Keith’s name.
