George Jessie Betts
November 17, 1956 – September 20, 2025
George was a hardworking, charismatic, funny as can be, all around family man. George attended college and was in the military. He married his wife of 48 years Kathleen in 1977. George had three beautiful children and five beautiful grandchildren and two beautiful great grandchildren who he cherished spending time with. George also enjoyed spending time with his siblings and when he had free time he often worked on his many vehicles or working on flipping houses. He also loved music and was always playing his guitar or writing lyrics to songs!
He was a hardworking man who cared about everyone around him. He provided for his family and sometimes even friends as much as he could. He was the type of man that would give you the shirt off his back if needed.
George was a goofy soul and loved to make others laugh. His sense of humor will be cherished and missed! He often spoke and preached about staying positive and living life to the fullest! He always said “ No matter what, everything will be OK!”! These life lessons will continue to be passed down to his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was a wise man whose lessons we will all carry deeply in our hearts!
