Betty Irene Wheeler
Betty Irene Wheeler 84 of Mulberry, Kansas passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on September 20, 2025. She was so feisty and full of life. Betty was also kind, loving, compassionate and understanding. She truly was one of Earth’s Angels. She is preceded in death by her mother Mildred Van Gordon and Father Glenn Van Gordon, brothers Richard Van Gordon, Frank Strang, and granddaughter Bailey Clemmons. Betty leaves behind a rather large family. Brother and sister in law Ron and Carol Van Gordon, Children Irene and Russell Blackwood, Aron Wheeler, Karen Letchworth, Sue and Bryan Reinecke, Randy Vanwyck, Linda and Randy Stradley. Grandchildren Tishia Mundell, Justin Wheeler, Johnny and Amanda Cain, Amber Reinecke, Jenifer Barry, Katie and Nathan Allison, Ashlie Redd, Jessica and Ethan Parcell, Jamie Vanwyck, and Gage Reinecke, as well as 22 great grandchildren and many others. We will be having a memorial dinner for Betty on October 15th at the civic center in Mulberry Kansas. Anyone who knew Betty and would like to attend is welcome to come.
