Judith “Judy” Ann Soto
It is with heavy hearts and a celebration of a life beautifully lived that we announce the passing of Judith Ann Soto, who went to be with the Lord on Monday September 15, 2025 at 3:03pm. Born in California, Judith embodied a spirit of resilience and unconditional love that touched everyone she met.
As a young woman, Judith overcame incredible odds, raising her four children—Richard, Alyssia, Margarito, and Katalina—as a single mother. Her strength was a beacon, a testament to her unwavering dedication to her family. Her greatest joy was her role as a grandmother to four grandchildren and two step-grandchildren, for whom she lovingly crocheted blankets and other treasures, each stitch a testament to her affection.
Judith’s home was the heart of her family, a place where everyone was welcome and no one left hungry. Her passion for cooking was legendary, especially during holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas. She had a special knack for “feeding an army,” a loving phrase her family used to describe her generous spirit. Every meal was a celebration, a way for her to show her love and ensure everyone felt full—not just with food, but with warmth and belonging.
She is survived by her loving husband, Kevin; her devoted sister, Anita; her five children; and her cherished grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Neil Stirewalt and her mother, Doris Stirewalt.
Judith Ann Soto will be remembered for the bright light she shone on the world, a light that now shines down from heaven. Her love, shown through her kind words and radiant smile, will forever be a guiding force. Though the world may feel a little darker without her presence, we find comfort in knowing she is at peace, her light now a star in the heavens, watching over us all.
