Donnie Lee Oxendine

Donnie Lee Oxendine, 74 years of age, passed away on August 13, 2025 at his home in Ritchey Missouri.  Donnie was born Jan 18th, 1951 in Neosho Missouri.  He was preceded in death by his parents Onal and Elizabeth Oxendine, and a sister, Cheryl (Oxendine) Fitzgerald.   

Donnie is survived by his wife Gail Oxendine, and two sons; Nate Oxendine (Miranda Oxendine) and Matt Oxendine (Jennifer Oxendine).  Three grandchildren; Levi Oxendine (Kelsi Oxendine), Tatum Oxendine-Bittick (Taylor Bittick), and Hunter Oxendine.  Along with 5 Great Grandchildren.   In addition he is survived by five brothers, and one sister;  Ed Oxendine of Ritchey Missouri, Barbara Loving of Liberty Missouri, Bill Oxendine (Pam Oxendine) of Joplin Missouri, Alan Oxendine of Stark City Missouri, Gary Oxendine (Dena Oxendine) of Neosho Missouri, and Randy Oxendine (Michelle Oxendine) of Granby Missouri.

Donnie and Gail were married for 51 years.  While raising their two sons he worked on the harvest for many years.   Donnie then worked for Lazy Boy furniture for 13 years until retirement.  Donnie loved deer and turkey hunting as well as fishing.   He also enjoyed spending time with his family and sitting outside enjoying nature.   Donnie loved the Lord and gave his life to him many years ago.  He was much beloved by his wife and family.

Graveside services to be held at Newtonia IOOF Cemetery, Newtonia MO.  Monday August 25, 2025 10 am.
