Ronnie “Ron” L. Johnston
Ronnie “Ron” L. Johnston, 63, of Carthage Missouri, passed away peacefully in his home Friday May 30, 2025, after a short battle with small cell carcinoma. A diagnosis that took him and his family by surprise.
Ron was proceeded in death by his parents Mr. And Mrs.Edford “Eddie” Johnston, step-mom, Sue Johnston, brother, Donnie Johnston, and adopted sister Micah Johnston. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Laura Johnston, of Carthage. Step brother, John Annis and his wife Kristy and their family, Casey Annis and wife, adopted sister Tasha Toland and family, adopted sister Ashlie Johnston and family.
Ron is also survived by his and Laura’s five children. Step son Adam Talley and wife Sara and their family, step daughter Miranda Talley and family, daughter Michelle Bowden and family, daughter Jennifer Jeffers and family, and daughter Elizabeth Hogan and Family. He is survived by 14 grandchildren.
The family will be having a celebration of life for him June 28, 2025 at Life Church at 1.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ozark Memorial Park Crematory of Joplin, MO.
