Melinda Hanna
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Melinda Hanna, affectionately known by many as Aunt Linny, Mom, Sis, and Track Mom. She passed away on April 30, 2025 at the age of 44. She was born on May 2nd, 1980 to Don and Mary Kay White. A woman of boundless love and thoughtfulness, Melinda was a beacon of compassion and dedication, whose spirit touched all who knew her. Her radiant smile and the warmth of her heart were a comforting presence, a testament to her unwavering love for her family and friends.
Melinda was a highly regarded Primary at her job at Preferred Healthcare where she was known for her dedication and commitment. Her loving nature and empathetic spirit made her not just a valuable team member but a cherished friend. Despite her professional accomplishments, what mattered most to Melinda was her family, especially her son, who was the joy and pride of her life. Her hobbies largely included spending quality time with her loved ones, creating lasting memories that will be cherished forever.
As we remember Melinda, we are reminded of the verse from the Book of Proverbs 31:25-26, “She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future. When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness.” This verse perfectly encapsulates the essence of Melinda’s life – a life lived with strength, kindness, and an unwavering faith in the future.
She is proceeded in death by her father Don White.
Melinda is survived by her loving husband Ronald Hanna; son Matthew Hanna; mom Mary Kay White; sister Katrina (Keith) Aldridge; brother Donald (Jennifer) White; Nieces Joy and Mary; Nephews Dustin, Tyler and Skyler; along with several other members of the family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9th, 2025 from 5:30pm-8pm at Simpson Funeral Home of Carl Junction. The funeral service will be held the following day, Saturday, May 10th, 2025 at 11:00am at the same location. Services are under the direction of Ozark Memorial Park Crematory and Cemetery.
